On Friday 20th September, we'll be behind #Red4Research, an annual awareness day which brings together all those participating, supporting, and undertaking research.

Founded in 2006, Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research has funded close to £1 million to enable researchers across the UK to undertake innovative projects with the aim of improving quality of life for the spinal cord injury community.

On the front line and behind-the-scenes incredible research teams collectively work on health and social care research.

Research doesn’t just happen though, people make it happen – research participants, patients, professionals, volunteers and regulatory bodies  - all working together.

On behalf of all those involved in SMSR-funded research, we would like to say a big thank you to you on this special day - keep up the great work!
