European Neuro Convention

We are delighted to announce the continued SMSR partnership with The European Neuro Convention 2019.  This year the Convention takes place at the NEC, Birmingham on the 26th and 27th March, with tickets being freely available from www.neuroconvention.com, where you can find more information on what to expect from Europe’s only trade show for brain and spine specialists.

Ali Gibson, our  Corporate and Community Liaison will be leading a seminar to discuss the unseen difficulties of living with a spinal injury, using her own experiences to draw key insights. Ali will be joining the likes of Dr. Yara Erez, from the University of Cambridge, as she delves into the groundbreaking work being done in the area of cognitive brain mapping during awake surgery. As well as this, Plymouth University will be running workshops to enable visitors the chance for hands on learning led by professionals currently working at the forefront of the industry.

Dominic Van Duivenbode, Event Director said: ‘I’m immensely pleased that Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research are continuing with our long standing partnership. Their strive to empower people living with spinal injuries to get the fullest from life is one that we wish to always support as we grow the European Neuro Convention.’
